About our Riggins Idaho Steelhead fishing trips on the Salmon

How a 1-Day fishing trip works

Our 1-day steelhead fishing trips leave from the Vinegar Creek boat ramp (27 miles east of Riggins, Idaho). Our trips take you into a stretch of roadless area where you can experience fishing on the Salmon River within the Frank Church Wilderness.

You will meet your boat captain (also your fishing guide) at the boat ramp. Our jet boats are Coast Guard certified and stocked with all the steelhead fishing gear you need to have a successful trip. Our trips begin between 8-9 AM Mountain Time, and finish between 4-5 PM.

Why Choose this trip?

Single day trips are a great introduction to the Salmon River. With this trip you will boat and fish about 25 miles of river. If you’d like to experience more of the Salmon, consider booking a 3-day trip.
