Hi there, we’re Jake and Autumn!

And together we make salmon river elopements a reality

We met in 2009 on a white sandy beach in the middle of the Frank Church Wilderness (our meeting was a blind date that was arranged by a friend). From that moment on we have shared a love for the canyon and have worked to build a life among its walls. We were married in 2014 on a small ranch owned by our family. Jake is a Coast Guard certified captain and has driven boats on the Salmon for the last 6 years. Autumn owns an elopement planning and photography business. In 2022 we purchased Whitewater Expeditions. This purchase allowed us to bring our careers together and build a business that helps couples elope on the River of No Return.

Planning a wedding in a remote location is overwhelming! We’re here to give you all the resources you need to create an amazing elopement experience on the Salmon River.

2. Jake will take you on the river for your elopement

Jake (Whitewater Expeditions) is a licensed and bonded Idaho Outfitter who holds a permit to boat through 80 miles of the Frank Church Wilderness. When you elope with us you gain access to 80 miles of the Salmon to explore via jet boat during your wedding day.

3. Autumn will take your elopement photos

Autumn is the owner of Autumn Lynne Photography and over the past 5 years has helped 80+ couples elope in the mountains of Idaho. Her services include elopement day planning, photography and an optional officiant service.
